Keeper of the Seven Keys: Part II is the third studio album by German power metal band Helloween, released in 1988. [1] [2] The album sold well, and success bloomed all over Europe, Asia, and even the United States. The album went gold in Germany and reached No. 108 in the US. Two singles were released from the album, "Dr. Stein" and "I Want Out".

It was included as track 7 side b track 1 on the original USA release by Noise Records.

Dr. Stein is on the goofy spectrum but a catchy well-made song. Rise and Fall is similar and a notch lower with a bit too much goofiness to handle. Really dumb cartoon sound effects. So what brings the rating down for such a monumental masterpiece? The solos still aren't there, Kai and Michael would get much better as their careers went along.

Background Kai Hansen stepped away from doing vocal duties as he had difficulties singing and playing the guitar at the same time during the previous tour. It was an album dominated by Hansen, due to illness of co-guitarist Michael Weikath which prevented him from performing on much of the album.

Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt 2 contains two of these tracks, the annoying, bad Rise & Fall, and the classic Dr. Stein. I bet you don't need me to tell you which I prefer. Despite being more of a joke track, Dr. Stein is still a great song. Humourous lyrics mixed with some solid guitar work and very effective vocals help make this a memorable track.
